Message	this happened this weekend on a buddies race car. Hood pins failed at 130mph at the local 1/8th. Glass could hit you in a similar situation with an open face. And yes i know it a slim chance it will happen but the chance is there whether its dragstrip or the "other track" ;-). Also, get a real automobile helmet rated correctly. You dont want to get caught at a track day somewhere and they check ratings and yours fails or something.
